The Bonus Weekend starts on 3/12. You can find the link in the <a href="http://services.runescape.com/m=devblog/view_post.ws?post_id=84&page=1" rel="nofollow">dev Blog here</a>.

@Ili0 - High alching is not only in efficient, it is costly. It is the last thing you want to be doing. If you want to sit still, then cast superheat item on iron ore. It has lower xp per cast, but you can cast the spell faster, making it much higher xp per hour relative to high alch. The price of nats is relatively stable, so that alone should tell you that it isn't a very good option (as no one is doing it).

Iron ore on the other hand has jumped up, so if you want to do it buy now. The xp for super-heating will also go to smithing and magic, giving you bonus xp in two skills, and giving you some serious potential XP in 4 more skills if you make the iron bars into darts attach feathers and then use to range a slayer assignment after the bonus xp weekend is over. You will find (even with expensive iron ore), that your cost in terms of gp per xp is extremely low if you utilize your resources to the extent that you can.

Hi i was wondering. What is the most efficient way to train magic during these hours. Is High alching for 7 straight hours worth it? I have 83 mage currently.

Wow, I never thought that a fansite could do this to a member. I rarely go to runehq anyway, because the site is just stuffed with popups, ads that make you lag and I can't stand the black background and slow speed of the site. Though I remember some of the guides are really good but too bad.

Another informative post, thank you. I do, however, take issue with your pure ess exception. On Feb 11th, it hit a low of 119. Let's say you bought 50k on that day. 4 days later you sell it all for 126 (You have even widened that margin by buying under mid and selling over. But still you are looking at a general maximum of 15%.). You just made a 5% profit in 4 days.

Instead, you chose to make simple fundy trades that averaged 4% twice a day. You turn that same 6m into 8,211,414. That is a 37% profit. Stick to daily flipping. It will outpace any other form of trading in the long run.

I have no doubt you are making more money fundamental trading than I am flip merchanting. Thing is I am reluctant to start new methods and risk losing any large amounts of cash. I've been practicing fundamental on the mock GE though. I figured once I got a better grasp I would start trying it. But my rate of success there is only at 13/17 atm and I would like to see it rise a little higher before I start putting my actual cash on the line.

Thanks for stopping by Gerasimos! I always take a look at complementary items when I see a spike in something related to them as well, but by far and away, buying at 2.5% below and selling at 2.5% above has been the better strategy. My goal is to have 5 trades complete every 5 hours, and do two of those a day for a 10% RIO.
